4 Months!

Let's see- Sawyer can smile and laugh, lift his head up during tummy time, bat at and grab objects in front of him, and make an increasingly interesting array of sounds. And his eyes are still blue! He is coming along quite nicely.

Sheeps and Punkins

As has been mentioned, this was a big weekend of outings. Saturday was the Sheep and Wool Festival in Rhinebeck. Sadie hadn't decided if she would be afraid of the sheeps like last year, but ultimately it turned out that she was, in fact, "brave to the sheeps". And the goats and llamas and alpacas! We saw all the animals, watched a sheep show, and even saw a shearing!

Knitting credit goes to papa for Sadie's awesome hat.

More pumpkins! I think our second child might be part pumpkin. The resemblance is uncanny...

Li'l Punkins!

Yesterday was a big day.  Well, to be honest, this whole weekend was huge.  But yesterday we drove out to a lovely part of New Jersey to meet up with some friends and go to a pumpkin patch.
We took a hay ride up around the apple orchards and then picked out some pumpkins. It was a pretty fun time. Sadie enjoyed herself rubbing around the hay bale maze and we adults enjoyed ourselves watching her frolic.
Sawyer was a perfect gentleman and kept me warm sharing my coat with me.
At one point it even snowed for about five minutes.
I'm glad I don't have to drive any more this week, but it was worth it.

Grandma Visit and Mommy Date

Grandma Vicki is here! On her first day, she stayed with Sawyer while I got to pick up Sadie from school alone. I took her out for a special date just the two of us. It is raining pretty hard and we went out for a nice steamed milk.
They were both perfect angels.
Thanks grandma India for the sweater!
