Back to the Frog Trail

We drove down Vernon Street to the "frog trail" yesterday afternoon.  It was a chilly and windy day but we needed some outdoor time.

The kids are so much more at home in nature now than they were when we first arrived in Maine.  Sawyer walked right out into the brook, up to his ankles, without a thought and without complaint, soaking his shoes and socks and pants - and it was COLD!

Sadie scampers from rock to rock making up stories and drawing Sawyer into her imaginary world.  It's a kick to hear them chattering away.

We got good kids!

Back to Brunswick & a Bit of Homelife

We wanted a change of scene on a beautiful day last weekend, so we drove to Brunswick and toddled around. We got sandwiches to eat in the park and kicked a ball around, then went down to our spot on the bay to find shells and stuff. And we saw a hot air balloon flying over Lewiston on our way home!

This little girl was in full adventure mode.

She's such a happy baby.  I'm convinced we're doing something right.

Yes, the big kids were there the whole time too.  They just wouldn't stand still long enough to be photographed!
