California Trip - Part 4

San Francisco!

We spent 3 days in SF and had a great time!

I took Sawyer and Frankie on their first cable car ride from Powell Street all the way to Fisherman's wharf. They loved it!

After the cable car ride, the three of us walked along three waterfront all the way back to the Ferry Building where we were to meet mommy and Sadie for lunch. 

Along the way we stopped at the Musee Mechanique, a museum of old carnival games.

Sawyer played Whack-a-Mole.

Frankie played Whack-a-Mole.

So much fun stuff to do!

It was not a short walk.

Along the way we ran into Brindon! Obviously he was an instant hit with the kids. 

Eventually we made it to lunch and afterwards we 6 all walked a bit more. 

The next day, we went to SF MoMA.

And then we got ice cream in funny fish shaped cones.

SF was great. I wouldn't have minded a little more time just wandering around the city with my wife like we used to do, but these kids are turning into excellent travel companions. 

California Trip - Part 3

We all went to The Mystery Spot, Santa Cruz's best little gravitational anomaly where the laws of physics cease to apply. The kids loved it and were enthusiastic volunteers on the tour.

Another compulsory item for any trip to California: The Monterey Bay Aquarium

And look who joined us: Grandma Vicki! Hooray!

My wife is the most beautiful woman in the world. 

Did I mention how windy it was in Monterey?!

Afterwards, the kids hammed it up outside a donut shop.
