Snowpocalypse 2016

Well, we survived. Sadie was sick and had to be sent home Thursday, but by the time the snow started falling Saturday she was feeling a bit better. She got a little taste of what was going on out back in the morning.

On Sunday, Jonathan had to do some work and I, starting to go a little stir crazy, consented to meet a friend at Prospect Park with both kids. I dragged Sadie up to the park on the sled, which was too small for her. She got in a few runs down the kiddie hill, then we pulled over to have a snack. She fell asleep in the sled with her sandwich in hand. I did my best to drag her back home (while wearing Sawyer, mind) without upsetting the sled on the huge snow banks, but she woke up about halfway home.
Then we made cookies, had a couple grown-up friends stop by for tea, and watched Frozen again.

7 Months

Hello dear readers. It's been a while. Sawyer is big and if you look closely in that smiling pic you will see the nubbins of a tiny tooth! The front bottom two are poking through now, so I feel a little bad for doing sleep training this past week, but not that sorry.

A couple weeks ago we had a playdate at Zoey's house and her dad busted out the nice camera and the sheepskin backdrop for these nice shots:

Yet more photos from Thanksgiving in California...

Sorry.  I swear this is the last post of photos from CA.  I didn't realize I hadn't downloaded these from my camera yet and some are too good to miss.
This post isn't just pics of Sadie though - be sure to scroll all the way down for great pics of all the cousins!

My kid likes a macaron.

She really knows how to wear those glasses!

Sadie expressed concern that the Monarch Butterflies might try to eat her sandwich.

I love this!!!

These cousins are beautiful and I love this picture! (but look at that crazy bokeh!!!)
