Our Very Own Waterslide!

On Saturday we got an early start and drove up to Step Falls Preserve to frolic in the pools. 

We were there by 9:30 and the parking lot was nearly empty - HUZZAH!

After the short hike up to the falls, we had our choice of pools, so we claimed the very best one, a lovely pool beneath a row of small cascades with a slippery bit of rock to slide down.

Here it all is. 

The kids did so much sliding that they both wore the seats out of their trunks. 

We all had a lovely day! So much so that we went back on Sunday!
