Holiday Shop Windows

It was not too cold yesterday, and I took the girls into town to see the tree and the shop windows. It was crowded but a good time!

The past few months!

It has been quite some time since we have done a big photo dump and I have an awful lot of great photos on my phone.  So here goes in chronological order from oldest to newest -- it's a lot.

Day 1 of this school year and my darlings were all ready to get on with it.

Some time back in September, Sadie and I went into Manhattan for something or other and we ended up walking from Times Square to Rockefeller Center.  Along the way we stopped at the M&Ms Store.

Then we wandered over to the Nintendo store.

And then we stumbled on a display of toys relating to Frankie's favorite cartoon.

The next evening, Sadie and mommy and I sat together to talk about something or other.  Sadie seems so old.  Where is my baby??!!!

If you don't know, I have gotten very excited about climbing at a local climbing gym.  The first time I went, I took the littles and they climbed for hours, but I didn't.

And then at some point Sadie got hold of my phone and I found this in my photos.  I don't think she knows how splendid she is.

Since that first time at the climbing gym (which is called The Cliffs - Gowanus), I have gone back many times with Sadie.  It turns out she has climbed quite a bit already at camp.  She's really good.

Sawyer had his first colonoscopy.  He was exceptionally upbeat and unperturbed by the whole experience.

Then there was that day that Park Slope flooded.  I had to go get Sadie from the Grand Army Plaza subway station where she got stuck on her way to school.  It was CRAZY how much water was pouring down the steps onto the platform and tracks.

Meanwhile, Sadie continues to play softball.  She's great.

Sadie and her friend Stella hang out pretty regularly.

Sawyer and I went for a bike ride around Prospect Park one day and he spotted a lady and her bunny out for a walk.  The bunny is a Flemish Giant.  It really was large.

Following in her big sister's footsteps, Frankie has begun leaving photos of herself on my phone.

My magnificent wife and I attended a friend's fancy dress birthday party.

When Frankie falls asleep, the bigs like to go over to her bed and coo over her.

Another day, another hang with Stella.

One day, Victoria took Sawyer to do some fancy special adventure thing and I took the girls to The Cliffs.  Afterwards, we had dinner and a shake at Harlem Shake (on 5th Ave.).

This little girl likes to flop on us no matter where we are.  It's a pretty good deal.

Last Wednesday was my birthday and I took the day off from work and V and I went to The Cliffs in the morning (her first time).

My lady is a natural.

She goes all the way to the top.  I don't because I am afraid of heights.  I prefer to scamper around on the boulders.

After climbing, we went to MoMA to see the Ed Ruscha show.  It was pretty good, but not as good as spending the day with my beautiful wife.  Lucky me!!!

And that's all for now.
