Brooklyn is Fun!

So here's more of what we've been doing.

Not technically Brooklyn, but the trip home from Manhattan to Brooklyn on Thursday with Sawyer.

And then on Friday we spent hours cleaning the basement and then hung out with Dan and Eve.

I tried on some old Halloween costumes - I think I looked pretty good.

Today, Sadie was off on a playdate with Natalia so Victoria, Sawyer and Frankie met up with Nancy and Yumi for pizza and then I joined them and we all went to the playground - but first, the ice cream truck.

Having friends is nice I suppose, but seeing friends and spending time with them is the absolute best thing in the world. I am now 100% convinced that we will be very happy to return to Brooklyn.

Frankie is a glorious little ray of sunshine. She walks around talking to herself and looking at things and laughing and she is amazing.

Sawyer and Yumi had a nice time playing together. It was great to watch them talking to each other. Sawyer needs more friends who get him.

It's exciting, this moment. So much promise. So much to do. It's going to be great to be back.

Spring Break in NYC: Our Splendid Young Man

We're in NYC for the week!

On Thursday, Sadie had a girl's day in the city with mommy so, after I finished my errands, I went into Manhattan and collected Sawyer from the babysitter and took him off for a Papa-Sawyer adventure. We rode the subway to Penn Station then walked to the West Side Highway promenade where we visited the Intrepid Air and Space Museum.

Sawyer had a good time, and ice cream. Here is proof.

Sawyer was such good company. I love my beautiful little boy!

A Visit to the Maine Maritime Museum

We took a drive down to Bath, ME last weekend for lunch and a visit (our first) to the Maine Maritime Museum. What a nice museum! What a lovely day!

And here is a little movie with our favorite actor.

Sawyer is an Author!

Sawyer wrote a book in school. It's nonfiction. Enjoy!
